The stat doesn’t say whether the cowboys face third and long any more often than other teams. It’s simply talking about his performance when they do have 3rd and long. So again, this doesn’t mean the Cowboys are getting into 3rd and long more than other teams.

Sadly, you either can’t comprehend that simple fact, or are just rapidly throwing crap at the wall and hope it sticks in an attempt to disregard the stat being presented being you dislike the fact that it shows a positive aspect of the QB’s performance.

I know what the stat doesn't say, which is why I brought up that point exactly, since the OP didn't provide evidence one way or the other that it is a good stat. To spell it out, the stat can be either good or bad, depending on how often the QB in said Stat is in 3rd and long situations. if it is too often, then maybe it doesn't deserve praise. I also pointed out that some elite quarterbacks are not on that list, hinting that maybe it is because they don't get their teams in too many 3rd and long situations for it to mater

Do you ever hear the Dak hating fools say this anymore? "Daks stats are average". NOPE!!!!

All they can do is pray for a loss and then try to blame Dak.

However, when he has 463 yards and 2 TD's its difficult without looking stupid.
this comment has downs syndrome

According to Jaworski:
Ron Jaworski @JawsCEOQB

Best rated passer on 3rd and Long (7+) in NFL

1. Giants QB Daniel Jones (115.8 passer rating)
2. Wilson
3. Dak
4. Mahomes
5. Carr

I know Jaws doesn't have a lot of love here but he is an excellent analyst and does some of the best breakdowns of the position I've ever seen. He doesn't think Dak is a $40 million man but he also doesn't think Dak is chopped liver like some posters here.

The list of hilarity just continues to grow:

-Wins don't count
-stats don't count

Amazing how Dak's stats were "average" before and this was the big case for the fools that didn't like Dak

Now that his stats are "ELITE" level stats all of a sudden stats are for fools. LOL

I love to see the evolution in stupidity.

Just like with Romo it will soon be boiled down to all that is left...……………."we will never win a championship with Dak".

According to that ranking Daniel Jones is #1.

Your mouth...shut it.

Useless info. Does this mean Daniel Jones is already better than Dak?

No, you said “why are we in so many 3rd and longs”

So you’re dismissing it because you thought it meant the Cowboys are in 3rd and long more often than others. Even though it doesn’t have to mean that at all.

Also, even if some of the elite QB’s are in 3rd and long less often. That should actually make it easier for them to have a high rating on 3rd and long because they would have a smaller sample size. A larger sample size would increase the difficulty of maintaining a higher rating.

I know that with this stat, Garrett will do everything possible to prevent kellen on calling long passes on 3rd and long.

Stop. You also have a narrative to push here and I really don't see you digging deeper into this raw statistic - your agenda is about as clear as PAPPYDOG's,

Dak's stats have rapidly declined since week 1. With ESPN QBR, he went from 93 in week 1 to 37 in week 5. Not really all that surprising his decline is due to facing better teams and not cupcake defenses.

Using passing yards in a catch up game is ridiculous. Dak had higher amount of attempts, because of this, he was mistake prone - turning the ball over nearly 3 times in one half. Two of his INTs were costly and killed momentum. He sucked.

I think a lot of the difference is Moore doesn't concede that he can't get the first down the way Linehan did. Linehan would run a play designed to help field position and punt, and Moore looks first to get the first down.

LOL...……..what a clown. Dak's passer rating was PERFECT in week one. Only one way to go fool.

Your Dak turds are laughable.

I thought stats didn't count in a catch up game? LOL But the Int part counts?

More dumbed down logic from a troll turd.

I said that with a bit of Sarcasm. But let me ask you this: Since when has third and long become a good thing, something to praise about? Unless the team runs all the time, the passing game would be half responsible for 3rd and longs, a situation that most fans aren't happy to see. So after a loss, I'm suppose to be happy seeing a bunch of fans getting happy that their QB does well in Third and long situations, when before 3rd and long has always been something bad...
