If Garret has any brain cells who will he trade for?

They clearly have been looking at safety. Offering some for minkah. And looked into several safeties in free agency. That’s the only one I can see possibly happening but for who ?

First off I am not a Garret fan he has done to many dumb things, and thinks we can tell teams what we are doing and be able to pull it off, this isn't the 90s or even the 70s. Anyways it sounds like both our tackles are out next week and I realize we still have a long season, but unless Dak completely carries this team if the above is true we will lose. We won't be able to run vs this front with two injured guys. Basically what I am saying it is all or nothing for this guy, WC will not cut it, other teams are being aggressive with deficiencies we need to trade for someone.

Solomon Thomas- This would be intriguing, he barely plays, we may have to get decent compensation, but we have bottom barrels dts like it or not. Collins has never played the run well I know that is not his job.

Emmanuel Sanders- He is a great underrated receiver, I say this without knowing the length of absence of Coopers injury, hamstring injuries can be a season long ordeal. This position is the least of my concerns, but we have seen this team before Cooper, although the talent is definitely better than it was before.

Steve Mclendon- I can't say I know a ton about him other from what barely I have seen of the Jets and just absolutely know he would have to be an upgrade over what we have, especially at the 1t. Also a player like this would not cost the farm, and these are the type of trades that NEW ENGLAND has mastered.

Any player where your not giving up the farm up for some suggestions, any ideas. I know don't trade the future away, but I will always have this mentality to, this season is the most important the one were in now, last year is the past and next year is the future.
I wasn't aware that Garrett was in charge of trades...I thought the GM had a say in it...hmmmm interesting rant.

btw, not impressed by anyone you mentioned above.

Since when does Garrett control trades? Stephen controls trades and the lack of them has been evident for many years.

We should trade our concession stand guy for Detroit's red-headed cheerleader, the one with the flip in her hair. Then trade our brunette cheerleader, the one with the dimple, for Washington's concession stand guy.

This seems to be grasping at straws and looking for a trade just for the sake of making a trade.

For example, what has Solomon Thomas done to prove he is any better than what we have, much less so much better it would be worth giving up something of value for him? And it likely would require overpaying for what he is at the NFL level simply because he was a high draft pick a few years ago. As for Emmanuel Sanders, I don't think the injuries to either Cooper or Cobb are supposed to be long term, plus I wouldn't want to trade value for a 10 game rental (Sanders contract is only good through this year).

If the criteria is to find players that can be had without "giving up the farm", as was mentioned in the last sentence, I doubt we could find anything more than nominal upgrade without giving up some real value.

They may have been overly enthusiastic.
