How can a kicker who has 3 60 plus yard FGs in one season not be able to kick the flipping ball into the endzone on kickoffs?

Chase McClaughlin was released by the 49ers this week. The Cowboys didn’t even try to claim him off waivers. Only Indy, Buffalo, and NE tried to claim him and Indy got him based on record.

The Cowboys aren’t even serious about trying to find someone.

Also Maher's shakiness was brought to the front office's action in the off season and they didn't bother to try and look for a kicker to compete with Maher for the job. Or didn't take the steps to move on from Maher. Garrett and Jerry are all stuck in their ways and are stubborn to the fault of trying staying loyal to things that clearly aren't working and it is severely costly to this team and franchise.

Jerry is now learning the hard way about why he should move on from players and coaches who are harming this franchise when people try to tell him that certain players and coaches aren't working out.
