Dallas can't or won't make adjustments. I finally made my adjustment. I went to bed at 9:00. I'm in control of my emotions. And I decided not to let the Cowboys ruin my day. I slept very well and looked at the score this morning. Sure glade I didn't stay up to wrestle with that game... Good luck Cowboys - I've been a fan since 1966. But I won't invest my emotions in you any longer. I can't support total incompetency over 20 plus years any more. I'm still a fan and will remember what the Dallas Cowboys ounce stood for. But MY Cowboys don't exist anymore. Really Really Sad.

I think the Cowboys front office went to bed last night not having any answers to the debacle they witnessed on national TV. I know I did. This team should not have looked that bad against a team that is really not that good. The Cowboys made them look like a powerhouse team but they were 6-6 too and they are as much what their record says they are as Dallas.

I'm tired of watching the bend but always break defense. Cant get off the field for anything. So either we have to score 30+ and hope for a stop or we have an offense that keeps the defense on the field for way too long until they wilt.

I have no idea why you left the offense out of this equation. They absolutely have as much to do with our inexplicable record as the defense, ST, and especially Garrett.

Garrett isn't calling plays, nor is he installing the weekly offensive game plan. As the players have noted, it isn't his inability to motivate them - they ARE motivated - and they haven't 'quit' on him as many seem to think. No coach - including Garrett - can take the field and execute the plays. Not sure who screwed up the Olawale route, but it wasn't a coach. The coach isn't out there missing every FG from 40+.

I've defended Garrett in the past, but I'm done. I've also said that I think we have enough talent on both sides of the ball to win football games. I'm not alone, as oddsmakers think the same thing, but maybe we're wrong. I don't know what the **** is wrong, but we all know it's something.

The Bears handled us last night. We all know that. Still, we get the ball back and, if not for a missed FG, we're on the 12 (or wherever it was) and attempting to tie the game. Same story, different day.

As many here have, I played football. There's a mental part of the game - the human element - that can't be quantified. I think Troy alluded to it last night near the end of the first half when he said (I paraphrase), "The team has to be thinking 'here we go again" after falling behind. In no way am I saying the kicker is our only issue, but it wears on players' psyches to come up empty over and over and over again. It's no excuse, just a point to be made. They're so tightly wound and overthinking everything right now that I'm surprised they can run without tripping over their own feet.

I don't know what's wrong. We aren't winning. That I do know.

I'm out of here for a while. Barring a coaching change, There's not going to be a single thing posted over the next ten days that's going to be new. I guess I could've said that after week 5, but whatever. Plus, my daughter is getting married in a little over a week. IT WON'T BE COWBOY THEMED WEDDING! I couldn't jinx the newlyweds like that!
