They were two games away from the SB and didn't come close to beating the Rams. They haven't been one game away since the 90s.

Every coach is. You can't start preparing for or playing a game 3 months before it happens, and coaches understand you can't look past current opponents for worrying about future ones.

I'm ready for Garrett to be gone, but this is a ridiculous comment. Every coach would hold onto their job in the same situation just as Garrett has unless they had another job lined up or were ready to retire anyway.

If all you are talking about is looking forward to it, what is this "calendar" you are talking about that Garrett should have put the game on. Are you thinking he doesn't have a season schedule?

If you are criticizing him for focusing on one game at a time rather than putting the Rams on whatever the calendar is you are talking about, then it appears you are criticizing for not focusing on the Rams game. After all, what does simply having a game on a calendar mean? That's not different than simply having a season schedule.
