To me...…………..this is the type of gaff that proves how clueless Garrett and his staff really are. Aikman kept saying it all game long. They basically had a rookie corner or a corner was starting his first game. And Cooper was on him plenty of the time. However, there was NO design or effort to attack that weakness. For 3 quarters, it largely went unnoticed.

SHOCKER! Our coaching staff is inept! We don't adjust, we don't game plan, we don't scheme, we don't target weaknesses of other teams. It's the COWBOYS WAY :flagwave:

This happens all the time. When a CB gets injured during a game, for example, every QB int he league attacks his replacement immediately, except the Cowboys QBs. Did you see the 49ers attacking Eli Apple all day when they played the Saints. Almost every passing play was targeting Apple's guy.

Yup, that's what drives me crazy about this staff. They never take advantage of matchups or opposing teams schemes. Youve heard it a dozen times, Dallas just does what they do. It pathetic and helps to illustrate the complete lack of any advantage these coaches give us.

Landry- ok lets test him early and keep going there. If they send him help lets go after the weakness created by helping him
Garrett-. Even tho hes a rookie hes an nfl player and should be able to handle the position. I wont modify a gameplan

Garrett has always used the "if they expect it, don't do it" approach, even when it's a winnable scenario.

If the Cowboys have been running the ball well in past games and they are playing a team that's horrible against the run, Garrett assumes they will stack the box and focus on stopping the run so they create a pass-first game strategy.

If the Cowboys have been running the ball well in past games and they are playing a team that's great against the run, Garrett assumes either 1) they cannot beat our best-ever-elite-offensive-line (/sarcasm) so he focuses more on running the ball, or 2) decides to not even waste time trying to run the ball and focuses on passing-to-win.

"Nameless, faceless opponents" & "We do what we do" = Will never win in playoffs due to playing better coaches & gameplans. 10 years and multiple wasted all pro players should show this.

There was a backup tackle on Demarcus Lawrence too. Lawrence did nothing pretty much the entire game.

Did they throw one deep ball vs the Bears back up corner the entire game?

One of the biggest issues with young CBs is they are not good at playing the ball even when they are in a good position.

To me, it is beyond comprehension to not test him deep to at least try and pick up a cheap PI call.

Poor coaching permeates throughout this team.

Meanwhile the Bears went after Jaylon in pass coverage on 3 straight plays in the end zone.

Coaches and Dak. A leader of a QB will make those adjustments himself.
