The end of an era for two of the last remaining hard players to wear a Cowboy uniform. In this day of free agency, the focus is more on making money then it is about who you play for, and what TEAM means. A problem not just for Cowboys but of todays NFL. I'm gunna miss these guys but wish them the best in all they do!!

Prefer they don't come back, but wish their work ethic and professionalism were emulated by the 8 figure club.

Don’t forget Bennett. I know he isn’t well liked around here and is well known for neutral zone infractions, but what he said about selfish players and only being in football for the money was absolutely correct. Aikman himself also said players in general aren’t what they used to be.

I don’t know if our players will mature with age, but we’re in serious trouble roster wise if we are stuck with this arrogant, immature, inconsiderate, egotistical young team. The new HC will have to be VERY strong willed and will have to have a very large amount of patience.

Both should make the right decision today or in the next few days. This team needs speed and neither has that. Thanks, but it's time to make the hard decision. Sentiment helped get this team to 8-8 and remain a mystery and mediocre. Witt hurt the team in the last 2 years....Yr 1 (retiring after the draft) and Yr 2 (being a starter vs rotational). Lee can't make the plays consistently anymore. I don't know what else to tell you. The Leadership, described for both, didn't help this team. Time for business decisions to made. The NFC East was as weak as it was...…..and We couldn't win that division......Let that sink in.

I respect both players but it’s time to move on. They will bring nothing to the table next season.

The organization needs to go into a different direction.

Lee has to come back, do not know enough on LVE yet and he was our best LB this year. Jason it's been real my friend.
