Jerry "ICED" him for a week.
Now if he could fire himselffinally we can complain about someone else
Much like with Romo the following replacement will better define in history this tenure. He accomplished jack...………Jerry doesn't even bother to mention to the 2 Wildcard wins, that is how much of a nothing burger he achieved.
Jerry also timed it to release the statement during the Eagle's playoff game, a nice little reminder to Garrett as to why he is fired.....LMAO
Part of that statement reads like he’s thanking Garrett for trying hard.
There are no participation trophies in the NFL.
You should not be congratulated or applauded for “making it to winner-takes-the-division” final regular season games — 4 of which Garrett lost.
For Jerry it counts. Those who can’t grasp Jerry’s emotions in all of this I’d argue you truly don’t get his personal agendas.Part of that statement reads like he’s thanking Garrett for trying hard.

The language illustrates how difficult this was for Jerry. He obviously didn’t want to let Jason go despite the lack of more success which should tell everyone about Jerry’s priorities.I still think he lands in the FO. I wish the language was stronger.
Sadly it's a stupid situation to be in. Why would their playoff success this season determine JG's future if they ultimately decided to move on? it's not like JG magically would have flipped a switch after 10 years. I don't know how long JG would've been here had we made it into the playoffs, but it would definitely guarantee more predictable headaches in upcoming seasons. As hard as this was for Jerry, thank goodness we didn’t back into a playoff spot.
We would have had Garrett for 10 more years
I feel so bad for Garrett and his $50 million. I have a right as a fan to be jubilant when there would be no Cowboys or NFL without fans. The reaction from posters only confirms how many A-holes post here. He got fired, being jubilant about it is just poor form and sportsmanship. I'm concerned about the future of my favorite sports team, the Dallas Cowboys. I'm worried that the next HC will be no better hire than Garrett was.
We know that most if not all of the previous hires ( with exception of Bill) going all the way back to Jimmy were poor hires which shouldn’t give us much hope. The reaction from posters only confirms how many A-holes post here. Garret is gone. It's poetry. That statement is pathetic.
