Look at Andy Reid. He had a long, successful run in Philadelphia that, of course, had a very ugly end. 4-12. Averaged under 20 points a game on offense. Stale. You name it.
Then he goes to Kansas City and has obviously added some fresh material to his offense. He's on his sixth playoff trip in seven years with the Chiefs and now his second straight AFC Championship game appearance.
Certainly Philly fans thought he was no good. A lot like how some Green Bay fans view McCarthy.
Don't be shocked if McCarthy ends up having new life with a new team like Reid did...

Shocked? I fully expect McCarthy to take the Cowboys to new heights.

Same here. Watching Reid and the Chiefs win just made me think of some of the folks that are more reserved when it comes to the idea of McCarthy, as a reason for optimism.

Andy Reid is essentially always done this. He's got several NFFCG wins and has even been to the big dance once. Not a surprise, to me at least, that he's making an AFCCG appearance.
Right on.
Also, I don't remember anyone discounting his success because he had the likes of McNabb and Westbrook, Brian Dawkins, ect.
Or Mahomes for that matter.

MM and staff are way better than what we had. That being said, Reid’s got Mohomes. MM has Dak. End of discussion based on your analysis.

Its amazing to me how people want to ignore the type of QBs these guys have and not factor it into their success.

Andy Reid can make just about anyone play QB at a decent level in this league.

A new head coach is like a draft pick. You never know what you have in them until they've been here for three full seasons.

Very true, but in McCarthy we have a known entity. He can go to the house with talent. The question is can he do it with this “talent”?

Or without Rodgers who looks like he’s headed back to a NFC championship.

Makes you wonder if Cowboys fans are giving McCarthy too much credit for GBs success.. Hmmmm

Bill Belichick is a re-tread coach after going 36-44 over 5 years with the Browns (and only 1 winning season). So I completely agree anything is possible...

Belichick had been a Head Coach before he was hired by the Pats...
