If he is really that bad??? His front man has moved on to the Raiders... why don't we trade him to the Raiders for a another pick in the draft????

I think his “explosive first step” will become the most talked about thing next season.

In reality the DTs are very thin thanks to the superb FO and former staff. He is a second rounder though. He would have to completely flake out to get tossed. It’s possible though with Hill. He is a waste of talent.

He needs a full offseason and conditioning.

be in there everyday watching film .

it’s a job. Do it .

LOL......maybe OP should just cut him now. Why waste time bringing him OTAs or camp.

Stephen wasn't particularly impressed but it will be the GMs call

I’d ship him to the Raiders for some Gatorade and a roll of tape.

Conditioning. Yes. Lots and lots of conditioning. He was softer than Charmin.

I live in Orlando and have season tickets to the UCF games.

Hill looks the same as he did in college. Lazy, uninterested, lackadaisical. He was just a better player than the kids at ECU, USF etc

Not saying he won’t become a player. But for people claiming “if he works hard” yadda yadda yadda ... they don’t know Hill.

We're humped at DT. Collins and Bennett leaving.

Woods at LDT. Ok. But that's it.

At RDT, Crawford coming back from chronic problems. Hill. Daniel Ross?

We've got nothing.
We had nothing all year even with all those guys. Hard to imagine it'll be worse, no matter who we sign

I bet he's gonna be in the best shape of his life on day 1 of training camp.

T. Hill couldn’t make the 45 man active roster most games. What are the chances he doesn’t make the roster cut downs to the final 53 this year?

Normally I would say that he makes it but he has been bad enough I put it at 50/50.
I think we have to wait for TC and preseason to judge that, but at this point I would say the odds seem lower than normal with a 2nd round pick going into his second season.

He better get busy and do work. Second year should show major improvement or trade him or cut him. We cut all the staff loose so it’s time to cut these players that were the staffs pet cats.

Hill was active for a few games and he wasn't as bad as people make him out to be. I don't understand why people are so down on him already. It worries me that the claim is he needs to get stronger. I think DTs should be strong when they are drafted. I felt the same way about Connor Williams. OGs should already be big and strong if you take them in the 2nd round. But Hill and Williams were both very young when they were drafted. They are still growing.

Hill showed some quickness. I don't know why he was inactive, especially after Crawford went on IR. I didn't see the rest of the Cowboys DTs doing anything special. But let's face it, the defense showed major regression from 2018 and it was not just Hill. If Nolan decides he wants big fat hole plugging DTs on defense then Hill may be the odd man out. It would also mean the Cowboys will need to sign a few guys on defense before they can cut Hill loose. On the other hand, If they want guys with quickness who can move laterally to cut off running lanes, then Hill could be a fit.

How do we know he has been bad enough if he didn't get a chance to get on the field as often.
Heck Devin Smith, all he did was make plays in the PS games, and the 1st 3 games. Then he was inactive every game after that.

I put this on the coaches as much as I do Hill.
New coach, new scheme, possibly he can mature and show something. Right now yes, agree, could be 50/50 based on last season, but 50% of that were the lame coaches we had.

Many on here are down on just about every player for no reason, because they think they need to be all pro from the get go.

We have a good DL coach that can determine if he's worth wasting time on.

The Cowboys aren't cutting Hill.

he didn’t dress for like half the games. I don’t think it’s far fetched. If making the league, having a huge fan in the coaching staff who’s most notable quality is getting effort out of guys didn’t motivate him I’m not sure what will
