Some guys just love football. Especially when it's all you've known and for a guy like Dez got him into college and the NFL. And it got him out of a **** situation.

Doesn't have to be broke when he's on social media talking about wanting to play again. Good Lord.

Just let him try out.. That's all I want.

If he is no good in TC and Pre-season then cut him but the dude is one of the all time greats for this team and deserves better. That did not end on good terms at all.

How on earth they can give Jason Witten a big press conference when he retires and just kick Dez out the door 3 or 4 months into Free Agency is beyond me.
Agreed. Give old boy a shot.

Taco. :lmao2:. Actually after he went to the fins he had as many sacks as D-Law. And one of them was on Dak.

opps wrong thread, thought we were talking about the hotboyz. No one on the WR have enough time in. But these new players will see Dez as a older player but not there as long as the new guys even though he has been playing there longer.
Lol nice. But yea they respect him . Gallup and jaylon has been campaigning for him

fir how much$$

he says he wants back in what type of home team post injury long in the tooth deal will he except? he was cut because his salary outweighed his production. SP thought he was worth signing..

so 5mil? he or cobb or cobb and dez gallup and a drafted WR new TE vs overpaying Amari??

Im bettingif he was willing to be the 3rd or 4th option and didnt make waves about play time etc he could easily produce Cobb like numbers..what did we pay cobb this season? what does he want to stay?

Sign him Jerry...

Slot, TE (to skinny), I don't care. Let the dude return punts if you want.

He is the type of person we need on the team.

We need a guy who throws tantrums on the sideline, who hasn’t played in a couple years, and has broken down due to injuries on the team?

Good question. I think he needs to be really cheap and on a prove-it deal.
No two ways about it.

They brought Witten back and he fit that shoe.

Yeah, they need to give Dez a shot... besides they need a man returning punts. X

Because he was a cancer in the locker room. It was on display many times how childish he acted during team meetings and how he got into coaches faces in a wrong way. I like his passion for the game and yes he holds a lot of records and played great for this team but do I want him back? No.

I don’t want him to be back either. Having said that Witten was so selfish (and Garrett let him get by with it) enough that I consider Witten a bit of a cancer too.
