Wow...

If Bill was here decade+ long of misery would still be in effect

No, not bashing Bill. Just some of his philosophies. I do appreciate what he did and left here.

Who knows?

What I do know is that we're 2-0 for the first time since Aikman was here. That, and that alone makes me smile.

very useful thread...

parcells drafted jacob rogers in 3.2.1.....

we maybe beat Miami with BP...but giants? NO!....we would be to conservative on O....we would have gotten our A's handed to us

that playing not to lose and not going for the kill drove me nuts.... and I am not the only one.... even some of the ones that dont feel like debating feel that way

Parcells was a great coach at one time.......but he was running on fumes for his last few years here.

He lost the fire he once had and basically became a moody old bully. I can't really blame him because I can't imagine the work it takes to be an NFL coach.

One thing is for sure.....he did construct this team back into a contender again. For that I am thankful.

the only reason i say wed beat miami with BP...is because we would have Newman...because we all know BP would not do that scrimmage vs Bronco's and thats when newman got injured

but whatever....I'm glad hes gone

Parcells the GM was stellar. BP the coach wears down his coaching staff and players.

Biggest difference I see on the sidelines is how loose and positive our coaches are. In the Parcells/Zimmer era it was always anger and sneers.

Players seem to be responding to these new coaches and "style". Also that we are more aggressive in playcalling, particularly on offense.

Yep-the final scores would have been 35-10 and 20-10, respectively.

Parcells couldn't even spell the words "blitz" and "stunt", even if it meant to save his life, which is probably why he would have lost to both the Gints and Fins.
