1 Quick note on Ellis

Watching the game twice, Ellis in space is scary. A couple of times on first down, he missed his jam on pass plays. Also he let White run right by him, with his feet stuck in the ground. I know the Eagles will try to match up this with Westbrook and Smith.

Philly is a team that looks to attack mismatches more than most teams, particularly with Westbrook. Parcells knows this.


We'll play more nickel with Ellis as a down lineman

I like the way our top 3 corners match up with their WR's and the way Burnett as a nickel LB matches up with Westbrook. Also the Eagles secondary hasn't been playing to well and Sheppard is a little banged up.

Ellis is still a work in process. We should expect him to struggle some.

Philly will attack him all game. Westbrook is so so as a runner, but his ability out of the backfield is scary as hell. Ellis has decent range in space, but he just seems a bit slow to me too.
