Cowboys are in no-man's land at 27, move down with the Patriots who want a WR.

Cowboys send 1st round pick(27th) and 5th round pick(163) for Patriots' 1st round pick(32nd), 4th round pick (101st), and 6th round pick(178th).

Cowboys aren't done dealing. They jump up in the 2nd round by sending their 2nd(60th) and 3rd(136th) to San Diego for their 2nd(48th) and 6th (192nd).

The Cowboys pull off a trade for a running back......

Cowboy send the 4th round pick they acquired from New England to Tampa Bay for Doug Martin.

I have to say, you didn't really get anyone I am really excited about, but as an overall haul, this would make me ecstatic.

I like all the players you took just not sure about a couple of the trades.

Will Martin really be better than what we have or is he just throwing another body at the problem? I tend to lean towards the latter. I'd rather just see what McFadden and Williams have. Not to mention that I believe Martin only has 1 year left?

And while I like Rollins I wouldn't trade up to get him. I'd rather sit at 60 and see what other db's are on the board later. Rollins is limited due to straight line speed and there will be a pretty big learning curve. I personally don't rank Rollins too much higher than D'Juon Smith, Josh Shaw, or Alex Carter so a trade up with all 4 left wouldn't a good move in my book

Agree with above
Good draft with 2 exceptions

1. Josh shaw in place of Rollins
2. Not sure about Martin

I think Rawlins might be as good as it gets unless PJ Williams falls to 60 because of that DUI.

I like the idea of trading for a running back, have not followed him these last couple of years, seems similar to what we have in the stable.

Most of the players drafted are good, but the trades make no sense to me.

Doug Martin is on the last year of his contract. If he is good you have to pay him. It would be better to just sign a free agent. Even with the 5th year option it is not a good deal. Also, if he is good why is Tampa trading him?

You basically traded away a 3rd to move up from 60 to 48. Yes, you got a 6th but that has minimal value in comparison to a 3rd.

Rollins is a decent looking player, but he is a significant risk only having played 1 year of football. His speed is not great as a CB and his size is not great as a Safety. If he makes it to 60 fine, but giving away a 3rd to move up for him seems like a waste.

I'm not looking at a trade chart, but offhand that seems like the Cowboys are giving up too much to move up 12 spots in the 2nd round.
