What do you think the odds are that the folks who have said they are "out" on Gallup have a change of mind? I say 30% will begin to backtrack. 10% will moderate to "let me see it in the regular season" while the remainder will continue to disparage.

Crazy thing is he's shown us what he's capable of. He's still young and still has every bit of skill. I dont know why our fans are so quick to dismiss him.

Our secondary is impressively deep. Having Diggs, Gilmore, Bland, and Lewis alone is damn nice. We still have KJ as a possibility and our safety room is legit.

It's early, but Michael Gallup looks eerily back to form to begin OTAs. There's a noticeable spring in his step that was absent in 2022, as he returned from a torn ACL, but Thursday's practice saw him targeted heavily by Dak Prescott and Gallup's routes were crisp, and his ability to high point the ball was effortless. He's apparently thinking less and trusting his body again, and it shows.

The player draped over Deuce and the double team on Mazi are surely metaphors.

That reads like real live physical contact.

He was pretty bad last year. Not explosive in any sense. So it's fair to be down on his play from a year ago. A lot of us expected that, it was a very short recovery time. It's nice to hear that he is looking and feeling better, but we all should be tired of hearing these guys talk....will be happy to see him show it.

Can only speak for myself, but I've always believed he'll be better this year than last year.. just the nature of that injury and it's recovery table.

Like many internet arguments on here, some people just dig in their heels so deeply about their personal opinions and then seemingly root for the player to fail or deflect when they do well and give the credit to someone else or find a way to disparage the good play. People seem to be more Interested in being “right” than what’s best for the team. You can just tell some people are watching games hoping the red zone TD pass goes to someone other than “insert players name here” or last year that it would be a rushing TD instead of a passing TD or vice versa depending on whether they are “team Dak” or “team Zeke” or anti Dak or whomever.

I think Gallup has the ability to be a weapon in this league. I think he was before and I think he can be again. I don’t know what happened last year, so for now I’ll blame the injury, but it just seemed like there were many times he was open and didn’t even get looked at like let Alone get the ball. I think the offense will be simpler this year and we’ll see more of just stepping and throwing. I’m hoping a lot of what McCarthy says comes true with regards to this offense. I can’t imagine too many teams can put 3 WRs like ours on the field.

Agreed, and I think our offensive talent is going under rated. At least on this board, but in all truth I think CD and TP are respected the rest are taken for granted. If Dak, Cooks and Gallup, plus these TE play up to their capabilities the offense will be tough. I didn't mention the line because it's a given everything starts with them.

Patrik Walker gives some good info from the 1st set of OTA's.

Nothing like any breaking news type stuff. But some good general stuff.

 @Pass2Run

The war for WR4 is already in full swing and it includes a list of names, e.g., Jalen Tolbert, but it was Simi Fehoko who got out to the fastest start on Thursday. Fehoko took reps with both the first and second team and was targeted often, delivering a 100% catch rate (no drops) and even being tasked with lining up opposite Gilmore, where he garnered one of his completions on a quick shimmy slant that turned into a YAC play.

Side Note: The NFL has banned Jalen Moreno-Cropper from practicing...It would be unfair to other teams.
- He'll be required to wear 10 pound ankle weights when he plays in games. Competitive Balance...

Not exactly a battle of greats for our #4 WR spot. First player to prove they have a pulse may win out...

Clearly whomever can run down on kickoffs and punts will have a huge advantage as none of our top 3 nor Turpin (who may also be the #4 WR) will be asked to do so.
