You would think the team would have been more excited about playing football than they showed today.

They went up 10 to nothing, then relaxed a bit. It's as if they didn't know they were in a fight until the Giants took the lead. It isn't the first time this has happened, but I expected a much better performance than what I saw today.

Any 10 day advantage is negated by the fact that the giants too had a 10 day advantage.

And were a way more desperate club.

Weren't the Giants desperate in Denver last week or at home against San Diego a couple of weeks ago? Why does the opponent's desperation give the Cowboys such a hard time? The only desperation game the Cowboys have won were at Washington last year and home against the Giants last year.

Because the Cowboys can't mentally take it to the next level and match that intensity.

I agree with Boris, we always seem to choke when there's any additional pressure. December, Closing Stadium, Inducting into Ring of Honor, Opening Stadium, Win and your In, and the 13-3 Playoff game all of the many chokes we have had.

Even if they do there's always the ******* fumble or the ******* penalty that screws everything up, back to being mentally weak as you said.

Cause god knows that contenders lose to desperate teams. They are desperate afterall, and that always equals a win. Wonder why the Cowboys are never the desperate team.

We were desperate and we still lost.

Our team doesn't know how to not beat themselves. Today was another classic example to add to the other 20 times this has happened with this core of players.

With the exception of Romo (who was just flat out balling), everybody else looked scared to me.

I dont know what it is, it is like we were intimidated by the Giants or something.

I am just sick of this crap, this was suppose to be the year things were going to be different. This has been one of the most depressing loses this team has had in awhile.:(

It's the same old story under Coach Marshmellow....they can't mach other teams intensity and discipline.

Had we not allowed a fluke screen to Jacobs for a TD or a fluke punt return for 6, we are tied at the end of 60 minutes.

Had we not allowed either to happen, we win at the end of 60 minutes.

Two hiccups caused our L, and these hiccups don't happen often with our D.

Expect fewer hiccups as the season progresses.
