Von was just on and you have to like him. Said he didn't get interviewed by the Cowboys at the combine, but he'd stick his head in the door in between other visits and tell Ryan and the others how much he wanted to be a Cowboy. Said he's always wanted to play in his hometown, and even has a game room dedicated to the Cowboys with the Ring of Honor in it. Sounds like a good kid.

i liked the part where he said cowboys were his favorite team growing up hearing about roger staubach, and if he got drafted by the cowboys, knowing he would put on that helmet with the star on it, he would pass out if cowboys drafted him

the cowboys did tell him that on the proday visits for locals, that the cowboys would visit with him then;

if he was the next lawrence taylor, i think the cowboys would, but dont think he is that good of a player, miller is good, but not a terror at linebacker like lawrence taylor was

patrick peterson, im doing great, ive learned alot in those 3 years, and made alot of things happen in those 3 years at LSU

showed me i had to be patient and humble, you cant rush into a situation and coach myles got me prepared show casing my talent

my dream to play in nfl happened in my sophomore season, locking down a j green, julio jones, so i knew then i would play in the nfl

helps you become a better player immediatel;y when your going against those type of guys at that level like wrs like green and jones, and next level going to be even more talented players to play against

to light up one of my cousins, would be sweet, just play my a game when im in the nfl

both of those guys a j green is good, i guard julio same way, one can stretch the field, and one get you those key first downs in situational, while both have great hands, but julio was fun going against

going against cam newton; he is different with that killer instinct and his body alone says alot, and well deserved to win heisman and he continues to prove people wrong, and he got better as game got bigger

mallet same, can sling ball around and get key first downs, just alittle different player, but definitely an nfl qb,

mallet does have a strong arm and you can see ball whistling when goes past you

mark ingram best asset is his first step and great recognition, runs hard and with purpose, oh yeah, if i built a college football team he would be one of those players

cowboys; they did talk to me at combine, talked to db coach for the cowboys, adn see what comes up; those meetings was interesting, an eye opener, and your trying to put a resume for that head coach, team interviewing you, i was star struck by jack delrio, when i saw first hard knocks with jags, i became a fan

mardi gra, didnt have chance to celebrate this year, because ive been traveling, but did last 2 years

your going through alot of interviews and give proper workout, but fun process, definitely with cba nothing we can control, lbut im hoping it will get done, and take it one day at a time, and hope for the best

I doubt he'll make it to our pick at 9, but I wouldnt be so sure they dont go OLB.

If Ryan thinks Spencer can revert to 2009 form (especially the 2nd half of that season) then it isnt a big deal, but if he watches film and he and Garrett decide he's a weak link, OLB will move up the priority list. Spencer's also in the last yr of his deal in 2011.

Do you suppose there is any chance Miller could play a little ILB as well as OLB? I think it would interesting to have Ware, Spenser and Miller on the field at the same time.

He said something to the effect of "If that guy had a down year Id like to see him in his good year".

As much as I like Quinn even I admit he was definitely pumping Spencer up.

Ryan has already watched film of Spencer and was very positive about his play.

Im slowly becoming more and more convinced that we shouldn't go hard after Peterson

The main problem is that I still don't see a team in the top 4 taking him..I still think we end up w him..
