Unless you're involved in significant personal life circumstances that involve too much of your time and effort ( offspring entering college for example) -- preseason games offer a chance to peek in on highly touted draft picks for other teams, to see what they're about as they enter the league.

Bryce Young- overall 2023 #1 Pick
Possible debut --- Week 1 @ Falcons (I Iive in metro Atlanta; planning with some buddy or two to attend the game since the Cowboys play Sunday night).
Also -- the Sunday before Thanksgiving, the Cowboys play the Panthers in Charlotte (less than 250 miles \ 5 hours drive).
