The Offense Heavy Mock
1.)TrentRichardson, RB, Alabama, 5’11 225lbs: I know what your gonna say the O-linecant block it doesn’t matter who’s at RB bla bla bla…….well in this mock havethe Cowboys rebuilding? The offense. Picking up either Konz or Brewster in the 2.T cowboys are a little heavy at RB, so I have Choice either walking or tradedand Tanner PS(if he’s available?) Richardsonis every thing you want in a back……he’s big, fast, strong and little bitscary. With Richardson, Felix, and Murray Garrett has the new and improved 3headed monster!!!!
2.)Peter Konz, C, Wisconsin, 6’5 315lbs: Well I said rebuild but what I really meant wasre-tool or revamp. Garrett need some help to get his new toy Richardson goingand that’s precisely what Konz will do, I believe Peter Konz is the best centercoming out this year(if he does) and he falls to the Boys here, where he startsday 1.
3.)JanorisJenkins, CB, North Alabama, 5’10 188lbs: He use to play at Florida where hefaced the likes of A.J. Green who had four catches for42 yards, TD and Alshon Jeffrey to six receptions for 53 yards. He will dropdue to character concerns and playing for a smaller school…..so I have Garretand Rob taking him here where Garrett can implant his discipline and Rob cancoach up his top 10-15 talent.
4.)Gordy Gleen, OG, Georgia 6'5 330lbs:The finale piece for the Oline. Gleen fell due to the fact he is out of shape,he has played OT, and OG. Between Gleen, Konz, Arkin, Nagy, Costa, and Johnson(7round) Dallaswill have a newer meaner and leaner O-line with great backups.
5.)Dontari Poe,NT, Memphis, 6’5 350lbs: At 6’5 350lbs he’s the big NT that everyone wants…but has the quicknessthat I’m sure Rob will love. This will give Rob more toys to tinker with in hiscrazy game plans.
6.)Cody Johnson, FB, Texas, 5’11 250:We got him are new lead blocker who can also run on short yardage. With the new“re-tooled” offense if Garrett cantscore then the Boys need a new OC.
7.)Rishaw Johnson, OG, California(PA) 6’4 308lbs
The Rob go crazy Mock
1.)Vontaze Burfict, LB, Arizona st, 6’3 250lbs: In this Mock Jerry likes what Rob did so much he lets him pick is guys. What can I say about this guy well……….he’s a lil bit crazy, the good crazy. He hashad problems with being a dirty player ala like Suh, but I believe he will fixit( Its him being competitive imo) Rob will love this and his versatility,Vontaze can play ILB and OLB I think he can be our C.Matthews. Spencer is up inthe air……do we sign him or not? This pick leaves a lil wiggle room.
2.)Jared Crick, DL, Nebraska, 6’6 285: Playing next to Suh got him noticed, but I thinkhe falls to the second round. He is a perfect fit for a 3-4 DE and reminds meof J.J Watts(and I hate comparisons) whois playing pretty good in Houston. He gives Rob more versatility and another pass rusher. Also would pick up Devin Still DL, 6'5 311lbs here in this spot!!!
3.)Kevin Zeitler, OG, Wisconsin, 6’4 315lbs: F.Jones wants and needs better run blockingand Zeitler should add this. He comes from Wisconsin who is known for O-line men. I thinkhe will make a impact run game if he steps up and starts over Arkin and Nagywho have a year in the system along with a offseason with the new strength andconditioning coach.
4.)Brandon Boykin, CB/KR, Georgia, 5’10 185lbs: Some how some way Boykin falls in thisdeep CB draft, and the Boys are glad he did. He can do returns and cover. Anotherpiece in this destructive D.
5.)Kenny Tate, SS/LB, Maryland,6’4 220lbs: heplays LB now but I see him playing SS and he drops due to the position change. HePlayed FS(IIRC) the year before. I think this is another guy that Rob can just schemeto get on the field and make plays.
