As my 1st thought was. Like they did going into the GB playoff game.

To me going unto TC, get the OL set, and get the run game going from there. And get the DT position sorted out. We all already discussed that part of it also.

So what is your list of challenges, not just TC, but the regular season as well.

What is Mike McCarthy's Biggest Challenge?

The answer is pretty obvious - winning in the playoffs.

Focus on the now to perform at a high level.
Perform well this season and get very well-paid next year; be it here or elsewhere.

Holding this team together will be his biggest challenge, especially during the rough/tough of the season after a couple of straight losses. It is possible he can do the best coaching job of his career and we can still miss the playoffs. In other words, I don't think he will get fired based on W/L record alone, but how well this team plays the entire season.

His biggest challenge is coming out this season with his reputation intact so he can get a HC gig with another team.

He's not exactly been set up for success under the clown show. He's also number 1 scapegoat just waiting to happen should we struggle.

I feel like Mike McCarthy will be challenged this year to overcome the players' tendencies to get flagged. Hopefully, he'll make amends for the playoff loss that happened vs. GB. Let's see if Lady Luck is on our side in 2024. I've felt all along that he's the least of our worries.

Playoff performance as a head coach of the Dallas Cowboys.

As with the multiple other posts regarding this topic, he has failed in his attempts at doing the job this front office hired him to do. And that was to win playoff game(s).

He has won 1 playoff game as a head coach in his last 6 years of coaching at 2 different jobs.

His Cowboy playoff teams have been miserably unprepared. That GB embarrassment last year should have gotten him fired.

But here we are.
