Another topic we all have discussed before.
Here are the 4 writers' answers.

Mickey has the best line.
These are more the hopes than "expectations" for two players coming off complex knee surgeries.

They all have some different perspectives, but also all feel any contribution at all would be a bonus. And both would tell you they plan is to be ready game 1. Though Overshown knows it is more around T-Day as he said.

I don't understand Diggs, training and rehabbing in Florida and not with the team trainers. Well. Actually he may be smart. I don't think the team trainers are all that great. Too many injuries keeping players out of games
Maybe he is trying to alienate Jerry into. a trade.

Expectations: Overshown - Don't rush back, come back and give us whatever you can. In 2026 we change your number back to 13 if you continue to get injured!! Promising career, but can't stay healthy, we've seen this before here!

Diggs: Do what you can, be prepared to be cut in the off season maybe traded at some point

For Overshown, I want him to be 100% before he steps on the field. I expect him to ramp up to where he was before the injury. This team cannot afford him to become another Sean Lee. I am counting on him to be a cornerstone of our defense for years.

For Diggs, round out his game and be less of an "all or nothing" player. Also, I believe you are not the only one questioning Diggs' rehab. Your concerns are mine as well.

Neither player will be a factor until late October or early November. If they can contribute during the second half of the season, it would help the defense considerably just from a depth perspective.
