All 6 writers give their input. I know what many responses will be, and you know that is not going to happen.

Here are a few answer excerpts ...

Mickey Spagnola: First of all, don't lose to the 49ers in the playoffs. Secondly, win the NFC East with a record to receive a first-round playoff bye and earn homefield advantage throughout the playoffs, unlike last year, finishing second in the East and as a wildcard playoff team having to play those first two playoff games on the road.

Kurt Daniels: Pray the football gods smile upon them? Seriously, how often does this come down to just dumb luck? Would the Eagles have made the Super Bowl last season if the 49ers' third-string quarterback hadn't gotten hurt? Obviously, there's more to it than that.
And the Cowboys have to stay healthy … which, you know, takes a little luck.

For me it's focusing on the Defense hitting hard and early . With the potential to: stop the run, with 3 decent/good CB's and one of the best pass-rush in the league, we want to go all out to pressure the QB from the start, we need to play with a lead to allow Dak to do what he does best.

This is key for me. Something they been lacking for quite a while. Regardless of how they got behind. Offense, Defense, slow starts, OC play calls and game plans...doesn't matter. They need to get leads. A key to all teams success.

I think the worst start was that play-off game at AT&T vrs 49ers, it was as if we didnt realise what was going to happen. Actually could look at last season's defeat being an improvement, we certainly looked better early on.

The other aspect I think is important (which we seem to have) is variety on the Offense: WR corp, blocking, system change (that suits players not OC) and a varied running game.....probably most importantly away from Kellen and his apparent view of the running game as an "evil necessity".

One...
IF this HC can demonstrate a weekly gameday advantage over his coaching opponent as per his resume/reputation.
Two...
IF this QB can overcome his fundamental flaw of poor decision making in real time in pressure situations.

These will be the 2 primary areas of concern I will continuously repeat throughout the year.

And IF these 2 catalysts to team success can overcome these flaws, the 6th Lombardi is ours.
Regardless of any other factor. Period.

I know, lol.
Now all they gotta do is transform themselves into something I'm doubtful that either one can become, but as with the other many homers here I too now post
"Here is to hope."

I went on the Army's longest continuous repel in the world on Chejido Island South of Korea. First, one has to climb all the way up the mountain, and then repel all the way back down again risking all as well.

Same for Dak Prescott...on belay!

Getting to the SB will be easier than winning it and that's not going to be easy. I don't know how we go toe to toe with KC or one of the top AFC teams. One step at a time I guess.

Very dumb response. Home field advantage thru the playoffs would not have helped the Cowboys either of the last two years. Playing on the road wasn't the reason we lost to SF in those games. We know exactly what the reason is. That is what needs fixed if the Cowboys want to make it to the super bowl.

With the exception of the 1st game against the Bucs last season the defense did exactly this.

it’s was one of the big reasons we were able to go 4-1 with Cooper Rush at the helm. But from the mid season the defense started to get gashed, especially up the middle and struggled to get to the quartbacks as they did earlier

LVE being injured contributed to some of this and adding Hankins was a nice bandaid, but getting Mazi in the house should be a real repair to that situation

1. Keep drafting DT's.
2. Focus OL drafting on big tough mean mofos.
3. Quit overpaying.
4. Start looking toward the future w/ every draft pick, w/ every contract, w/ every FA signed. Quit the little "Everything is for today". That way of thinking is a large reason we haven't made a super bowl in many many years.
5. Let MM run things. If he can't do it, get someone else. We won't even have a chance at winning until a HC is given the power to get what he needs. (It may be happening now, to be seen.)

1. Stay injury free
2. Have the second coming of the '85 Bears defense
3. Avoid playing the 49'ers.
4. Carry Dak's arse over the finish line.
5. Did I mention staying healthy and injury free?
6. Divine Intervention

Get a real quarterback to lead the team.

Don't do dumb things that cost the team a possession or points.
