I know this doesn't mean much this early in a season, but it's interesting to think about at least.

1 Houston Texans (0-4) D'Brickashaw Fergson OT Virginia
At this point in the year, this is what is most likely to happen if we aren't projecting trades. I am not completely sold on Ferguson as the top tackle in the draft, but as of right now, no one has overtaken him. Houston desperately needs help on the offensive line and will almost certainly take advantage of this strong group of tackles.
2 San Francisco 49ers (1-3) AJ Hawk LB Ohio State
Hawk would project inside if San Francisco continues to play more 3-4. Derek Smith and Jeff Ulbrich are solid, but Smith is getting older and neither are the game changer that Hawk could be. He could really become a leader for this defense.
3 Minnesota Vikings (1-3) Reggie Bush RB USC
The Vikings have a lot of running backs already and a lot of them are smaller, 3rd down type backs, which many people will say Bush is. However, none of the Viking backs have Bush's flair. He'll give Daunte Culpepper help by solidifying the running game and is also capable of being split out or catching the ball from a slot position.
4 Arizona Cardinals (1-4) Matt Leinart QB USC
Denny Green has said that he likes Josh McCown, but McCown hasn't proven himself yet. If Leinart is on the board here, it would hard for the Cardinals to not take him and unite him with their excellent group of young receivers.
5 Green Bay Packers (1-4) Chad Greenway LB Iowa
The Pack have a couple of good linebackers in Na'Il Diggs and Nick Barnett. Robert Thomas was a nice pickup, but the chance to add Greenway as their weakside backer might be too great to pass up here.
6 Chicago Bears (1-4) Joe Thomas OT Wisconsin
Thomas has been dominant so far this season and is really proving that he is a top 15 pick if he chooses to enter this year's draft. The Bears have largely ignored their line problems in the past couple drafts, so they go with Thomas here.
7 Oakland Raiders (1-3) Mario Williams DE NC State
With Derrick Burgess already their pass rush specialist, the Raiders take Williams over Kiwanuka for his size. Williams can play the strongside and can even move inside to give aging tackles Warren Sapp and Ted Washington a breather.
8 Baltimore Ravens (1-3) Marcus McNeill OT Auburn
McNeill is a huge mauler and is a younger version of Orlando Brown. Brown may not be with the team much longer and the Ravens don't have a whole lot of depth at the tackle position.
9 New York Jets (2-3) Laurence Maroney RB Minnesota
The Jets could go a number of ways here, but I don't see Derrick Blaylock or Cedric Houston as the heirs to Curtis Martin's feature back spot, so I'll project Maroney to them here.
10 Tennessee Titans (2-3) Jonathan Scott OT Texas
Scott is an athletic left tackle prospect who could eventually take over for Brad Hopkins at Tennessee's left tackle spot.
11 New Orleans Saints (2-3) Jimmy Williams CB Virginia Tech
Scott is an athletic left tackle prospect who could eventually take over for Brad Hopkins at Tennessee's left tackle spot.
12 Buffalo Bills (2-3) Max Jean-Gilles G Georgia
A little high for a guard maybe, but Jean-Gilles is a potentially dominating run blocker and with Chris Villarrial nearing the end of his career, the Bills may choose to go with an interior lineman here.
13 St. Louis Rams (2-3) Charles Gordon CB Kansas
This is a team that has had trouble defending the pass this season and this speedy cover man could be a quick fix.
14 Cleveland Browns (2-2) Mathias Kiwanuka DE Boston College
Kiwanuka's versatility could make him the pick here for Romeo Crennel. Kiwanuka is a great rusher from a 3-point, but if he shows that he can rush from the two point as well, he could be a good fit in this defense.
15 Miami Dolphins (2-2) Omar Jacobs QB Bowling Green
Jacobs is very raw, but his physical tools allow him to project as a future starter in the pros. The Dolphins don't have any young QB they can pin as their future, and Jacobs, a Florida product himself, could be Nick Saban's guy.
16 Kansas City Chiefs (2-2) Santonio Holmes WR Ohio State
Say what you want about his size, Holmes is a playmaker. He has the skills to be a go-to guy in the NFL and that's exactly what the Chiefs need in this draft.
17 San Diego Chargers (2-3) Laron Landry FS LSU
Receiver is going to be a need, but that position is much deeper than safety, where a playmaker like Landry is tough to pass up on here. The Chargers are a playmaker in the secondary away from being a complete team.
18 Philadelphia Eagles (3-2) Leonard Pope TE Georgia
The Eagles don't have a lot of needs, so they have some options here. LJ Smith is a great receiver, but they don't have that much quality depth at the tight end position, so they go with Pope, a big guy who can become a great blocker and still offers great receiving
19 Dallas Cowboys (3-2) Vince Young QB Texas
The way he's playing this year, Young is validating himself as a bona fide QB prospect. He's throwing the ball better and with Drew Bledsoe there, the Boys can afford to wait a couple years for him to develop. Receiver is a possibility here too, but Young's upside is almost too big to pass up.
20 Jacksonville Jaguars (3-2) Tye Hill CB Clemson
Will Blackmon has been playing WR primarily, so Hill leaps over him as the selection here. He has great speed and can play man and Jacksonville needs another young CB to pair with Rashean Mathis.
21 New England Patriots (3-2) Ahmad Brooks LB Virginia
Brooks' stock has been dropping a little due to injury, but he's still an elite athlete. If he's still around here, it would be very hard for New England, who has been getting sub par play out of their inside backers, to pass him up.
22 Seattle Seahawks (3-2) DeAngelo Williams RB Memphis
This is assuming Shaun Alexander doesn't stick around. If he doesn't, this team will need a feature back which Williams definitely can be with his all around ability.
23 Detroit Lions (2-2) Andrew Whitworth OT LSU
The Lions haven't been doing a great job protecting Joey Harrington and their right tackle position still hasn't been solidified. Whitworth is an all-american who could potentially step in right away for the Lions.
24 Carolina Panthers (3-2) Marcedes Lewis TE UCLA
Lewis can give the Panthers' offense another option as he is a great receiver and could open up the middle of the field for Jake Delhomme.
25 Atlanta Falcons (3-2) Jeremy Trueblood OT Boston College
The Falcons need to start building up that offensive line to protect Michael Vick. Trueblood is a big tackle with a lot of upside.
26 Denver Broncos f/WAS Greg Eslinger C Minnesota
Eslinger is a Tom Nalen clone and a perfect fit in the Broncos' offense.
27 New York Giants (3-1) Haloti Ngata DT Oregon
The Giants need safety help, but there aren't any free safeties available here that is quite worth this pick, so instead, they go with Ngata who can plug up the middle with William Joseph even though Kendrick Clancy has been playing well.
28 Pittsburgh Steelers (3-1) Mike DeGory C Florida
It's a boring pick, but I still think this is a perfect fit. The Steelers pride themselves on hard running and having a center in the middle who can pull and also open holes up the middle is key, so with Jeff Hartings nearing the end of his career, they go with DeGory.
29 Denver Broncos (4-1) Manny Lawson DE NC State
The Broncos have picked up a few free agents at the end position, but they still haven't gotten the pass rush production they need. Lawson can give them some more speed off the edge.
30 Cincinnati Bengals (4-1) Rodrique Wright DT Texas
Wright has been inconsistent for much of his career, but is putting together a solid season thus far. Cincinnati is building a nice young defense, but could improve themselves right up the middle..
31 Tampa Bay Bucs (4-1) Ernie Sims LB Florida State
The Bucs may have a need here soon as Derrick Brooks is nearing the end of his career and there is little depth here. Sims is a local product with outstanding physical skills..
32 Indianapolis Colts (5-0) Daryn Colledge OT Boise State
The Colts need to think about an heir to the left tackle spot for Tarik Glenn, and Colledge could be the guy here..
