2010 Schedule

If we lose tomorrow, we wont play at Arizona, it will be at SF.

That would make losing worth it since it would be @sf instead of Arizona and @atlanta instead of New Orleans, adding two winable games instead of two hard games.

bears and titans highlight the home schedule for me.

there are actually road games i would consider attending. always wanted to hit lambeau as long as it wasn't in December. I think going to indy would be fun and pretty safe. (again, depending on the date. Going to Indy in December doesn't seem like fun, dome or no dome.) and I think at Texans would be fun just to go start talkin' junk. Plus that will likely be our 9th home game.

Of those road games the only one where weather could be a factor is GB and then only if it's in Nov./Dec. The others are domes or in warm weather. And honestly, I think this team is maturing before our very eyes, so it shouldn't matter.

well, when you factor in the division opponents that leaves half the road schedule as potential winter hassles, but what else is new?

True but I don't think we would get all three road divisional games on the back end of the schedule.

why does it always seem like we play either the packers or panthers all the time

Because we play each NFC division every 3 years, plus play the same place finisher of the other 2 divisions. It just so happens that has lined up with the Pack and Panthers recently.

Looks like a 11-5 or 12-4 schedule to me.

Seriously, we should blow through our home schedule pretty easy. The Lions? The Jags? The Titans? The Bears? None of these teams are good road teams. The Titans had a resurgance this year by beating scrubs, I think they had 1 win all season over a team with a winning record and that was the Jets at home.

I see maybe 1 loss at home to a division rival next year, so 7-1 home record is what I am writing down.

As for the road games, I think we can go .500 or better next year. So that we put us at 11-5 or better.

BOOK IT!!!!

3 years in a row going to the Packers (4 years in a row playing them)... that's just not right.... :(

Remember when the Packer fans cried about that a few seasons ago?

I saw some posts in here about losing today and getting an easier schedule.
Not necessarily true - the rules have changed this year.
If we were to beat Philly next week, thereby advancing farther in the playoffs, we would advance past them in the scheduling and play the 1st place schedule next season.
Division winner does not get tougher schedule now if wild card team advances into playoffs.
