2012 College Football- No Texas teams in the top 10?

I don't pay attention to college football like I use too, but I'm surprised there isn't a team from Texas in the top-10 (U of T is at #15).

I just find that stunning given the amount of great players that play there– and how important football is in the state of Texas.

texas produced BOTH andrew luck and rg3.
a lot of texas kids to be sure but they dont all go to any one program.

we'll see what the final polls say but i expect 3 or 4 texas teams in top 25, none in final top 10.

If Texas gets good play out of the QB position, they are going to be a top 10 team IMO. They are loaded on Defense, their OL has a lot of young talent and they have the best stable of backs in the Country. They really need a QB to play solid. Doesn't have to be spectacular, just needs to play solid and not make a lot of mistakes that will kill the team.

Espinosa has to be stronger in the middle and still major question marks at receiver, tight end is almost hopeless from the practice reports I've seen. Ash is going to have a tough time just being solid if these issues aren't taken care of.
