About this time every year the early reviews on rookies start pouring in.

This is a thread to help us keep up with who's shining and who's not. So far.

We know this stuff will materialize over the next couple of years, but sometimes we can get an early take on who looks like a good value and who could help their team this year.

For example.
I hear WR Ty Montgomery, the late 3rd round pick for Green bay, has looked outstanding so far. Not sure how much he'll play with them already loaded at the position with Nelson, Cobb, and Adams...but they just keep raving about him. He plays tonight, so it should be fun checking it out for any flashes.

I've also heard RB Jay Ajayi (Miami) has so far not looked too great. He was alte round pick so not too much should be expected anyway. But I'm curious about him too.

Calling it now. Leonard Williams will not live up to hype.

RB Rawls looked better than Michael for Seattle.
Some around here may like that for possible cut prospects later.

Wr Lockett for Seattle is going to be a superstar.
He was a favorite around here pre-draft.

I saw the KR highlight....untouched, but he did win the footrace down the sideline.
Was thinking he had no catches though.

Looking forward to seeing him

Pittsburgh already has AllPro Antonio Brown and Martavious Byrant.
Now they add Ben Coates.
Potentially a great WR group down the road. Ughhh

Kevin White to have surgery. The #7 ick for the Bears could miss the season.
Like the player would have used that valuable of a pick for him if I was Chicago.
Could trade and get two much later 1st rounders or just drop down slightly and pick up a 2nd....and with a draft FULL of good WRs, still get a nice one.
