I think we should trade out of the 1st and 2nd round for a handful of 4th and 5th round picks. Then just draft a bunch of special team players. Really we’ve neglected special teams since 2013, so this is long overdue.

Hopefully we can get a couple of sprinters or basketball players and try to train them how to play football over the next 5-6 years. Maybe we’ll get some quality role players out of them.

I mean, if the FO is absolutely set on taking someone in the 1st round, I’d really like them to draft a TE and convert them to DE, or even draft an athlete QB like Lamar Jackson and play them at Safety or Punt Returner.

We need another speedy receiver who’s only purpose is to run end-around handoff. That’s been a glaring weakness since Lucky Whitehead went to jail.

There’s really no excuse to be sitting around wasting a 500k year from your supposed franchise QB unless they know he isn’t.
