Finally some photos of the Eastern side of the Bahamas released......total devastation

...We received about 2 1/2 inches of rain out of the Tropical Storm around Texas...no big deal at all, we actually needed the rain...Hurricane Dorian Hit the Bahamas very hard. One major Hurricane is enough for any season, and luckily it's been a rather slow season so far...but unfortunately it's not over yet!...

I have family that live year-round on the Outer Banks.
The eye went right over my brothers house. It was “only” a Cat 1 by then, but quite a lot of water rushed in from the Pamlico Sound on the back side of the islands (no dune protection) .

His house in Hatteras is raised about 15 feet above ground and they needed it!
