Should the Cowboys go with an offensive lineman to help protect Dak Prescott? Should they go with a wide receiver to help replace Amari Cooper’s production? Or should they go to the defensive side of the ball and try to upgrade at linebacker or on the defensive line?

My dream fit is this selection:

Matt Holleran
My dream fit for the Cowboys in the first round is Alabama wide receiver, Jameson Williams. If Williams did not tear his ACL in the title game back in January, he likely would have been a consensus top-15 pick. Williams’ greatest strength, his blazing speed, is something the Cowboys currently lack on their offense. The wideout would become an instant weapon on the offense and would be one of the best big-play threats in the game. An offense featuring Williams, Lamb, and Gallup would be a nightmare for opposing defenses to deal with.

There are several other choices so look at the link for the other selections:

Will Williams be ready for TC? Will there be a plug and player guard available @ 56

My guess he will miss some games even though he is expected to be ready for training camp.

While at the Crimson Tide’s pro day, Williams explained that he is actually ahead of schedule in his rehab. He was originally expected to recover in five to seven months, but might be back sooner than that.

The speedy wide receiver also mentioned that he could be ready for the start of NFL training camp.
For which team? He’ll find out in less than a month.

He did say, however, that he is waiting until he feels 100% before getting back out on the field.

According to Williams, representatives from the teams he has met with have not made too big of a deal about the injury, merely asking how he’s feeling or how the process has been.
