Seems like drooped passes and bad calls are happening a lot this year. We have to stay on the good side of both categories to win.

Yup, the Giants had that game won earlier if not for the bogus roughing the passer penalty

I thought that was legit. The blow to the head was real. He was not swatting at the ball or his arm. He literally hit him in the head with his big fat hand and wrist. That is against the rules.

The refs have been awful and not just the missed calls. I mean how many plays have been reversed by the booth? Spots, completions, etc. It has been an officiating mess so far. But most disturbing are the false start non-calls. How do they miss those when there are two guys on the LOS and one in the backfield watching for that stuff?

The amount of illegal contact/interference the Chargers got away with was unbelievable!

Billion dollar business refuses to pay for full time, professional referee units that directly and regularly affects the outcome of a game millions of people have money bet on….hmmmm

It seemed like in the 1st half of the games, the officials pretty much let them play, but the flags came out more in the 2nd halves.

Which I think highlights the worst part about NFL officiating. It is so inconsistent.
My issue as well, of course you cant catch everything, but it sucks for so many calls to be subjective.
One crew can let players do what they want, and some are super strict.

My main thing is if theyre ticky tack on holding, hold both teams to the same standards. Its annoying when were called for it, but then the opposing side is just grabbing us and no call the entire game. Or we get called for PI and they can just whack our receiver before the pass, no call. JUST CALL IT FAIRLY, all i ask.

I’m pretty sure It was not called because of a blow to the head….that was a glancing blow that had no effect. The Refs usually let you know if it is that and announce it as such…..”blow to the head”…..this was not done. It was called on the take down. That was bogus…he didn’t pile drive him to the turf….just slung him. It was a very poor call…..did you notice how many times Viking OL guys were grabbing and holding Thibs? Over and over…..and the refs let them play, no whistle.

so why no holding calls yet you call roughing the passer at a very critical time of the game? Makes no sense to me….even if the glancing blow was his basis….that glancing blow was nothing compared to the OL guys mauling Thibs.

..the fins Imploded yesterday with drops from receivers. Thompson was putting it on spot.

I saw at least 4 drops and most at critical times.
