I don't know, I'm not as down on the draft class as most
I'd swap out Schoonmaker, but I think Mazi Smith will be much better and DeMarvion Overshown is going to be a menace
The rest? Outside of Karl Brooks I can't say anyone of them have done much to make me feel any way positive or negative

i do think zimmer will get mazi smith on track...at least i hope so.
but i'd still rather have the mayer of south bend.

True if Mazi pulls a 180 then this draft most likely is a win. Odds seem to be about as extreme against that happening as I have seen for any 1st rounder but you know...

Before the Cowboys picked Mazi, I wanted them to draft either Steve Avila or Michael Mayer.

I had Mazi rated as a late 2nd. On my DT rankings, Keeanu Benton was well ahead of Mazi with regards to run-stopping type DTs.

Note: One of the Cowboys favorite players in that draft was TE Sam LaPorta but they over-analyzed their draft board with regards to value and moved him down because they consider TE a lower value position than DL or OL.

I had Avila rated significantly higher than O'Cyrus Torrence.
- However, I thought Torrence at #58 would have been a solid pick.

I'm good with Overshown instead of Ika.

Surprised that Darius Rush was drafted in the 5th...expected him to be a 3rd rounder.

TE Zack Kuntz was one of my pet cats with regards to late round developmental type players.

Schoonmaker played 31% of snaps on offense.

Ferguson played 40% his rookie season and nobody knew what he would do in year 2.

i.e. Schoonmaker was ok. Not great but not terrible as a rookie. Similar to Ferguson as a rookie.

Sacks don't always tell the story though it doesn't take much to have a more productive season than Mazi.

The Syracuse linemen that they were going to pick instead of Mazi should have been the first round pick. Supposedly he is one of the top young guards in the league now.
