I do not see where the Eagles have the hardest schedule......but either way, they are the top dawg. We have to go through them to dance in January.

They have a stretch of 7 consecutive games against playoff teams (8 of 9 to close the season) including 3 in a row with the Chiefs, Bills, and 49ers. It's a hard schedule.

Has there ever been a season in which the strength of schedule in the preseason turned out to be accurate by the end of the season?
No, because this is a recent thing (way after free agency started)and it’s mainly off because too many players change teams every year. Like Philly is 1st because of the 1st place teams we play. Does anyone believe TB will be as good without Brady as with him? Does anyone believe Minnesota will win 13 games again? Dallas plays the second place schedule, is Detroit only going to win 9 games? Is Carolina not going to change at all with their massive turnover this spring? And then of course injuries, Daniel Jones goes down and suddenly all of our schedules just got a bit easier. This is inconsequential to what 2023 will really be like

The scumbags had a charmed season last year with a weak schedule and then a laughable road to the Super Bowl.

I have to believe that good fortune will change.

Almost half (15) of the teams were below .500 last season. Everybody in the NFCE faces opponents that averaged above .500. Maybe I'm reading this wrong.

It’s mostly because we all play 6 games against each other, and then we all play the AFC East which had really good records as well. We don’t touch the AFC south and only each play 1 game against the NFC South… where all the worst records are. Those two divisions combined for 6 of the top 11 picks.
