I know I know they are worthless and I'm the biggest supporter of saying they are. But just to throw something out there on a slow Monday. There are 8 teams below us! So here are the Cowboys:

24. Dallas Cowboys

After restructuring the contracts of Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb to clear cap space, the Cowboys took a cost-effective approach in free agency, targeting former first-round picks on discount deals and other short-term signings.

Dallas is banking on the potential of its new additions, but with first-time head coach Brian Schottenheimer at the helm, the strategy carries some risk. Once again, the team will likely have to lean heavily on its star quarterback-receiver duo to carry the load.

We rely on Dak and Lamb, there's NO team that can take us down, there's no way in the world we don't win the superbowl!!!!

in 2039!!!

Initial reaction is that 24 is way too low for this Cowboy team, but when you take a breath and actually look at the teams around them on the list its really not too far off. Really the whole group from probably SF at 17 to the Cowboys at 24 are probably pretty close to each other and you could shuffle them around a bit without much argument.

Cost effective?

That has to be seen.

Efficient it was for sure.

But i doubt the autor knows the difference. Thats why he has to work for pff i guess.

As a rule of thumb, you are correct but I think this year as well as the next several may be crash and burn seasons. Then again, that may be wishful thinking.
Even a crash and burn season like 4-13 probably doesn't do it. Had they not signed Dak we would be in it.

Hope springs eternal…maybe they’ll see the error of their ways. Dak’s the main reason we potentially have a couple 4-5 win seasons.

Lower than I thought. I expected middle of the toilet flush, you know, swirling around trying to decide to go down or wait for that second handle push.
