On occasions, we can line up with LVE, Jaylon, Parons and Cox; Cox is great in pass coverage; Parsons can be the romaing heat seeking missile pass rusher blitzer with blazing speed, to give the team the juice it needs like it had with DWARE and before with Harvey Martin. Parsons can be an immediate impact player on the defense. Penn State LB's tend to be smart.
If we did not take Parsons and Cox, we would have only had 3 starter LB's on the team and one is a converted SS. And LVE had two serious injuries in his 2nd and 3rd years. Now, the team has some quality depth. Anthony Hitchens and Damion Wilson played for KC, original Cowboys, relatively high draft picks.
The team still remains fearful of Gregory inploding and missing time. That is why the team selected a DE in the 3rd round. Plue, Aldon is gone. Brad Anae is a way too small undersized DE. There are reasons he may only be a spot pass rusher.
Reggie Robinson must have been very slow to learn the system. That can be the only reason why he did not play last year, after a stellar college career. He was moved to safety. Is he the secret weapon free safety who has been developed and will be ready, making high a high pick for a FS unnecessary?
