Haha. Only in DFW would a 3.4 M earthquake make news. I didn't feel a thing 20 minutes from the epicenter.

Same here. I live in west Plano and I wouldn't have even known there was an earthquake if it wasn't for the news. I didn't hear or feel a thing.

I was on the computer when it happened, and thought a car hit the side of the house. I went outside to investigate, and a lot of my neighbors were standing around talking, saying they felt the same thing. Twenty minutes later a neighbor came outside and told us the news said it was an 3.4 earthquake, and that the epicenter was just a few miles north. I called a friend who lives in Garland, and asked him if he felt anything, and he said no.

This was less than a mile from where I live. Sounded like a bomb had gone off or something.

I was going to say the same, you don't even feel those.

We aren't same as SF or LA, but I have felt earthquakes where building shook and I didn't even get off phone.

We wouldn't even notice 3.4.
