  1. Home Field Advantage. We have the best streak in the NFL winning at home. We have home field for every team in the Tourney except the 49ers.
  2. CeeDee Lamb. Most dominant receiver in NFL and our team's MVP. Always open. Always good for 10 catches, 100 yards, and TDs. Not afraid to go up to to Dak and Mac and telling them when they're not using him enough. This is the same lethal combo we had with Aikman and Irvin. Aikman/Irvin would connect early, get the score up, and turn the ball over to Emmitt and the Defense. We don't have Emmitt, but we do have a defense, which is #3.
  3. Get a 12+ lead and let the pass rush and turnovers take over. If we get the lead and their offense becomes one-dimensional, no matter who it is, it turns into an avalanche. Strong team, weak team, doesn't matter. Once you let the lead get away, our pass rush is #1 in NFL. Pressures, reaction time, whatever you use. And we're full of DBs who have a knack for turnovers. Ball game over. We only lost one game this year when we led at halftime.
Dak can have bad games. Run defense sometimes plays like ballers, sometimes is stomped. Micah can be stopped if they focus on him or run his direction. Thought our kicker might be #4 but he proved he was human last week. But those 3 things up top are like the postmen. Through rain, sleet, or snow they always deliver. Coaches can focus on all the details like they should, but those 3 things will almost guarantee a win.

The dreaded #4 Shooting ourselves in the foot with costly mistakes and penalties!!!!

#5 Refs
I can make a list of 3 stupid things we do to guarantee a loss, :grin:but keeping it positive.

Yeah, penalties would probably be on that, but haven't looked at the numbers yet to see what our record is when we get too many in a game.

Does something like 10/80+ yards ring a bell big fella?? Lol i'm sorry to burst your bubble with the negativity, we just can't forget these things. Great list though. You mentioned Ceedee being able to go up to Dak, isn't that an amazing thing how they do this and there's no "he's a diva"

CeeDee knows how to handle himself. There's a right way and a wrong way to do it. But I think it's imperative that your #1 receiver have that alpha in him and not afraid to say that stuff.

How about stopping the run?
The reason I kept it off is we've lost when we stopped the run. And our run defense is erratic, cannot be counted on every week. Sometimes balls, sometimes loses it.

However, our pass rush defense and pass game with CeeDee can be counted on every week. I think offense should come out, throw early, and get the lead so we don't even have to depend on the run defense.

If I was approaching this from a different angle, our opponent's angle, on the 3 keys to victory, I'd put "control the run game" on it. I'm sure there's a minimum number of carries or yards in the first half where we lost every time.

Just start this game off in the right direction and choose to receive first, if we can.
The offense is firing on all cylinders at the right time for post season QB, OL, RBs, WRs, TEs, that about covers the entire offensive unit.
This defense is designed to be a hungry pool of piranhas that attack an offense playing from behind, not playing prevent D, that has never been their strength.
Just want to see Dallas get the first possession, score on the drive, and feel comfortable watching the defense do their business.

Home or away the keys to victory are:

1. Stopping the run. Aaron Jones has torched the Cowboys in the past. Even when he wasn't having a great season he managed to do well against Dallas.
2. Pressuring the QB. Regardless of the score Dallas needs to make their QB rush his throws.
3. Protecting Dak - The offensive line has got to give Dak a pocket. If they let the Packers get early pressure, Dak starts to speed up his throws and that's when he loses accuracy.
4. Stay healthy. If they have starters out in the playoffs it will make a difference, unlike when they play the Washington Commanders.

In the past the Packers seemed to have Dallas's number. Last year the Cowboys had that game won and let it get away from them. That was with Aaron Rodgers. But do not underestimate Love and his young WRs.

Playing on our home field is huge for the Cowboys. This is a tremendous award for winning the division.

CeeDee Lamb is a special player who when paired with Dak is a dangerous combination. These two have thousands of hours of time-on-task perfecting their chemistry.

Getting an early lead is important. It allows our offense to play loose and the opponent's offense to start playing with desperation. This is when our defense starts racking up turnovers. The game will snowball in our favor.

The chemistry has evolved dramatically this season, that has been obvious.

I agree with all your points, I just made the 3 keys above though based on what I think is realistic.

For your #1 - Stopping the run, we're hit or miss. Odds are better that we can score early, get CeeDee the ball, and take their run option away. That's why I kept it off. Like I put in reply above though, it's for sure a key to beat us for an opponent. We can't win any game where we lose run defense in 1st half.
Your #2, Pressure the QB, we're much better at it when we have the lead since we have an undersized D.
Your #3, Protecting Dak, we've been hit or miss on this too so I wouldn't bank on it as a key to victory. Dak has been mobile as hell this year and stayed healthy no matter how much he gets hit, so for now, that's best I can hope for, because too many injuries and instability on that O-Line. Like the smaller defense, will have to reapproach it in offseason, but nothing we can do now at this point.
