4-2-5 D against Philly again ?

We played almost all Nickle the first game, I expect the same this time unless Philly decides to run the ball more, which I doubt.

I think it depends on if Philly comes out in a 3-wide set. We've seen time and time again the 4-2-5 is a far better formation when dealing with a 3-wide offense because it gets A. Glenn on the field and we can if we choose man-up on the receivers and then do whatever we want with the safties.

I expect more of a muck it up game from Philly.

They were horrible running the ball.

I think we started the game last time in the 4-2-5. I like that formation because with 4 down linemen and a LB we can bring 5 rushers and still have 6 people (5 DB's and 1 LB) back in coverage.

I like that.

I bet philly mixes it up and actually tries to RUN this week. They have to if they want to win.

I see them trying to run the ball- but abandoning it quickly if they do not get good results.

I do not see the Eagles having a lot of success in the run game.
With only 30% of their plays so far running.
They are not set to do this.
If they do it and it is successful then we deserve to take the loss.
But without TO there to capture the attention of two defenders at all times.
They are not in as good shape.
We should be able to throw the Nickle defense at them when they go three wide. And cover the guys on the field 1 vs 1 with a little help in the middle and over the top.

Our DBs are excellent run supporters. EaGirls will have hard time even if they try to run against the 4-2-5.

I don't think Eagles without TO warrant much out of the ordinary. I'd rather more in the box and harass McSoup and TOTALLY take Westbrook out of game.
