7 round mock from Cowboys beat writers

Not a single “insider” picked a top DT, you know what that means, we’re happy with the mediocre crap we have

When have beat writers gotten the first round pick right let alone all 7 rounds. The only one on the shows who seems to understand the Cowboys draft philosophy is Broaddus.

If I remember, Eatman nailed a draft many years ago, but other then that, not so much.

I like the fact that Eatman sticks to his guns. He believes the Cowboys issue is center/guard. You can see by his draft that he tried to solve the problem. I think he had the best draft of them all.

He claimed the Cowboys had no interest in Parsons last year

No he didn’t. He said before the Cowboys would pick Parsons over Slater if the cornerbacks did not fall to the 10th pick. Now he was not a Parsons fan. He hated Parsons instincts.:facepalm:

At first I cringed a bit. But I like that he tried something different.

I also dig Helman's which is like the opposite of Eastman's.

Helman and the other guys think they are Mel Kiper. I understand mock drafts are hard though because you don’t really know who the Cowboys really want and how the draft shakes out in front of them.

I also want a new Center and I think that is more urgent and important than LOG however Linderbaum is smaller and you can’t address everything in one draft

That is why I’d rather sign Tretter and Hicks in FA who would immediately upgrade 2 critical positions and then use the draft to acquire talent rather than go to need

I think the Cowboys should draft Linderbaum and get a second/3rd round guard too. You just can’t do better at 24 then a possible pro bowl center. If Cowboys use the same philosophy as the last to 1st round picks Linderbaum is the pick.
