There has been and will continue to be question on what is a better investment Randy Gregory or the Armstrong Fowler combo. In a vacuum Randy is the better player but I maintain the combo of Armstrong and Fowler is better than 1 Randy. The biggest lesson to learn is Randy has not played a full season, be it behavior or health reasons. As a reminder the Jonses wouldn't have paid these 2 if they had signed Randy. The other thing to remember is all 3 had 4.5-5 sacks each last year

Only 2 games but here's how they stack up for the money.

Randy 2 assists and 2 solo tackles and 1 sack.

Armstrong 2 assists and 3 solo tackles with 2 sacks
Fowler 1 assist and 1 solo tackle with 1 sack he did look terrible game 1 imho

Still more to go but this front office lucks into good deals more than they make them with effort.

So everything they get right is luck and the things they don't get right is accurate?!

I thought Gregory would be back on a short term deal, when I saw the terms I was glad it didn't get done. I was good with how it worked out. We'll see if that proves true this season.

Not everything. But micah, martin, frederick, dak, none by design of the front office. Whike they had smaller hits the guys at the top were mostly luck thsn by any grand design..

Not sure how you bet on a guy who has never played a full season. But glad he got away.

I’m not betting on anything… I think his knees got 2 years tops… comparing his rush ability when healthy to Armstrong based solely on sacks is just silly!

I will say this Randy has natural pass rushing skills that you can’t teach. I just think Gregory had to go to get the best out of Parsons. This defense is now Parsons, no question about it., I don’t think Randy is a versatile as Armstrong and Fowler.
