1) Does anyone else suddenly have to input your pin number every time you log in?
2) Does anyone know how to change that?

I had to about a week or so ago. Something to do with multiple people accessing Disney+ via their avatar I think.1) Does anyone else suddenly have to input your pin number every time you log in?

Because of their awesome content. At this point why are you supporting Disney?
What problem? Showing my family the best vacation time I can?
If you don't like the crowds and long lines then you are going at the wrong time.To me, Disney is not a vacation. It is a tedious week of ridiculous crowds, long lines and overpriced everything. I'd rather go to the dentist every day for a week.
That's okay. It's not a massive inconvenience, just a slight one.I had to about a week or so ago. Something to do with multiple people accessing Disney+ via their avatar I think.
My granddaughter shares my account. It prompted her to add a PIN for her avatar. She did. Then it asked me for a PIN when I tried signing it after her attempt.
Neither my granddaughter nor I have seen that message since. I'm not sure how to advise anyone to stop it repeating a PIN request. Sorry.

It's Disney. High prices are expected. So you go and it costs whatever it costs. Or you choose to go somewhere else. Complaining about high prices at Disney is like complaining about loud music at a concert. It's expected and one just goes with the other.
Everyone should experience Disney World (or Land) once.My kids are grown up now so I don't need to make that sacrifice anymore. Now it is their burden to take their kids. But when we went to Disney we went when the kids were out of school. The problem is so are a lot of kids out of school so Disney is crowded. I would not take my kids out of school to beat the crowds at Disney although I know some people who have done that. As for the prices, I don't subscribe to the thought process that it has to be that expensive to have fun or that you pay high prices just because it is Disney. The most fun our kids had at Disney was in the hotel pool! One year instead of taking them to Disney we took the kids to the Bahamas for a week. They loved it. We loved it. And it was less expensive than taking them to Disney.
I think Disney survives off its name which is really a relic of the past.

That makes sense, but it just started happening a couple of weeks ago, and I haven't heard anyone else mention it, so I wasn't sure if there was a way to circumvent it or not.Try a Disney Cruise if you have kids. You get more time with the characters and theming, and you can drop them off at the included kids zone and get hammered. Win/win for the whole family.
To answer the OP's question, Disney+ and Netflix had banner years during the covid lockdowns, but quickly found out that they had peaked. They're trying to squeeze every nickel they can out of customers, since their subscriber count is falling. One of these tactics is to crackdown on account sharing.
What is the cost on a park pass these day that allows you to go to any park that you want? 1 week staying at one of the hotels that are in the park and tickets I’m thinking has to be about $7k. There are only 3 hotels in the park I believe. What will be your total outlay of cash for the amt of time that you are spending.thxIf you don't like the crowds and long lines then you are going at the wrong time.

I totally get all that. It does makes sense. Really there is a lot going on at Disney that doesn't have any ties to the past.My kids are grown up now so I don't need to make that sacrifice anymore. We went over Thanksgiving week. Prices were around $120 per person per day for each park. We did get the park hopper for one day and it's $60 per person per day. That sounds expensive but if you want to split the day between 2 parks it isn't because there may not be enough to do in one park all day. What is the cost on a park pass these day that allows you to go to any park that you want? 1 week staying at one of the hotels that are in the park and tickets I’m thinking has to be about $7k. Hotel prices really vary depending on where you stay obviously. The lower end around around $270 per night I believe. Most expensive is around $880. If you are only going to use the room for sleep, no reason to get an expensive one. There are soooo many hotels I can't count them all. Absolutely make sure you stay on property though.
If you are considering a trip, my advice is to pull up their website and start checking everything out. It's been upgraded and is easy to navigate. You can check out rooms and prices and book and pay for everything ahead of time now. It's much easier than you think to figure out all that stuff now. We had fun clicking around one evening and picking out what we liked and planning our trip.
First time we were there was 2000 when my daughter was 5, stayed at the Polynesian which was expensive then. We took a sleeper car from Penn Station in NY. Stayed for a week and as one poster said it’s lots of work that whole week doing the monorail for the character breakfasts etc. The last time we were there was I believe 2010 or so but we only stayed two days and did the hopper pass. Would like to go back soon as we are now in Sarasota and get that Huge Fl discount! Will wait until masks are no longer required, maybe they are not required now? Thx…We went over Thanksgiving week. All that went away. When we were there over last Thanksgiving it was indoor only. It wasn't that bad really. As of a month (or so) ago no more mask mandates. We did what's called the Lightning Lane (Fast Passes went way) and while it only added to the cost we saved A TON of time from standing in line and rode way more rides. Will wait until masks are no longer required, maybe they are not required now?
