Or as I'd call it a piece and crisps. Do you lot over there eat this or is it a Scottish thing? You should try it some time.

Quality snack action.

Added chips to a sandwich but never had just a bread and chips sandwich.

Looks like a waste of good bread. But I am not a big 'potato chips' fan.

On the other hand, I was relatively recently introduced to refried bean sandwiches, which turned out surprisingly yummy.

I ate chip sandwiches when I was a kid and we were dirt poor. Didn't have anythign else to eat sometimes.

Used to love chip sammiches as a kid...

Haven't had one in a while, but they are good...

Never had one. Used to eat butter and sugar sandwiches and plain mayo. Also mayo and onion but those are gassy. :)

Stick some meat and cheese in there and I'm all set. A pickle on the side too

I still add chips to existing sandwiches on occasion. I've never tried it with just chips though.

You don't even have proper bacon!

Ok. I'll bite...What is proper bacon?

Canadian Bacon? Cue the Canadian hate.:)

I can honestly say that I have never had any bad bacon, be it Canadian, Pancetta, American, European, etc. Although, the best bacon I have ever eaten was in Germany.

I thought this was going to be a proper Chip Butty. (i.e British Chips)

Have to say I haven't had one of these for donkey's years, and always preferred them with Cheese (and possibly mayo)
