A Decade of Disaster in Dallas - Nothing has changed

For the record, nature has a point, anyone who doesnt share some of these feelings in various degrees of intensity isnt a Dallas Cowboys fan.

Finally I feel this team really is lost and I have no clue or opinion on how we can possibly turn it around this time. We need wholesale changes in the coaching ranks beginning with Parcells who has failed miserably at getting this team to win.

Campos teams never beat teams with .500 + records... same as BP!!!

Campos teams never had an OL.... same as BP!!!

Campos teams played D but never stopped teams when it counted late... same as BP!!!

Campos teams never had a QB... same as BP!!!

Campos Teams had kicking problems... same as BP!!!

I do give Campo credit... he couldnt hire his own staff... let alone draft his own players and sign his own FA in fact he could sign any FA on par with BP!

Campo never wasted a first round pick on the son of a former player!!! Did Campo even coach a rookie first round pick?

Is back!

:pc: POST OF THE DAY!!!! :starspin

With all the cash JJ gave BP, it must feel like black Monday for Jerry. BP has stolen his money.

This looks as though it may be the lone decade during the Cowboys existence that the team failed to reach at least two Conference Championship games.
Even in the 60s Dallas played for the right to have a birth in the first two Super Bowls in 66 and 67
Then in 70,71,72,73,75,77,78 Dallas was in the Super Bowl or a game a way.
Then in 80,81,82 they lost three heartbreaking Conference Championships and three years later had the first losing season in 20 years.
Then in 92,93,94,95 Dallas was arguably the greatest team in NFL history.
This decade there has been no wiff of Super Bowl glory, despair has set in.

No Big time assistants - no prolific cooridinators - NOTHING. 95% of NFL fans have no idea who calls the plays in Dallas.

Yea, Washington is doing really well, with there big time assistants and prolific cooridinators.

I always say "But...it's the Dallas Cowboys. We arent satisfied with anything below an NFC Championship game."

And that's tough for us to get used to in this salary-capped world, being no different than the Cardinals or the Saints. We're supposed to be better!

THis whole decade has been a disappointment. And Parcells era has been the most disappointing of all. (THey didnt pay Parcells to be a 500 coach and get us to one lousy playoff game)

I have never seen another poster with suck savvy, such a knack for finely articulating his points. Ric Flair would be proud.
