What do you think the odds are that before the tuna retires that our beloved team will have six if not seven Superbowl trophies displayed at Valley Ranch?

Do you think that NE will dethrone Dallas?

Are there any teams in the league that have the talent and coaching staff to cause the silver and blue star to fall from the sky?

I am not really asking for a host of emotions, but a realistic assessment from those of you who know the NFL well enough to see a pattern emerging from any of the franchises to say: "Dallas is in trouble."

Do you think the Tuna has what it takes to make Dallas, once again, number one in the NFL?

This season Parcells & management made significant inroads towards regaining Cowboy dominance. Worst thing that happened when Parcells arrived here was us 10-6 in 03 leading to complacency & poor record in 04. Major offseason changes have caused tremendous improvement in this team now leading us to believe we can beat anybody and frankly we probably could have w/ a better PK & better OL play. Any way our defense is a top 10 unit despite some poor play recently which I attribute to rookies hitting the wall, injuries to 2 starting LB & CB and we certainly could use a legit FS. And Fujita still learning 3-4 with Burnett now getting playing time & some improvement beginning to show with both individuals.

Also 1-2 weeks ago Parcells claimed Cowboys only 1 good offseason away from be legit Superbowl contender. I believe we all know that and we all think we know where improvement needs to come. So I expect Cowboys to sign maybe 1-3 good FAs as cap allows & draft as many O players as feasible in effort overhaul that area while also making some changes on defense. And don't forget a PK We've got 3 first day picks & 4 2nd day picks. New scouting defepartment helped us have great rookie draft on defense; let's hope we make same good inroads on offense this year.

While I do believe recent defensive problems owe much to rookies hitting the wall, injuries to starting LBs & poor FS play, what has happened to our pass rush specifically where are Glover & Ellis. Glover made an appearance against KC but have I missed anything re Ellis. Is latter even playing? Are both guys tiring in the 3-4 & various formations? Will that happen next season? Will Glover & Ellis (both of him I like and are classy guys and Ellis is a team leader? Finally while did a pick up a DE PS player from Atlanta where we have greater needs elsewhere? Parcells said he just wanted take a look at Glymp (sp?) but when asked how he would be used Parcells simply replied to leave that to him. We also need a reliable PK.

In answer to your question, we are legit NFCE contender & a good offseason could catapult us to the top of the heap.

Yes Parcells has what it takes to get this team to the SB. I don't think it will happen this season although I have hope that they can. I think from a talent on this team has improved quite a bit under Bill and as younger players gain experience they will compete for the Super Bowl once again.
