A Haynsworth, one of the highest payed players the Commanders have started being a huge distraction in Washington, man they have a ead coach(Shanahan) with a backbone who refused to put up with his nonsense. Curious to think how Wade would have handled the situation.

I really don't give a damn how he would have handled it.
That POS isn't on our team so I'd rather not waste my time thinking about it.

Wade wouldn't get a chance to touch Haynesworth. You know Jerry would get a hold of that investment like grim death.

His physical fitness test would be to see how fast he can deliver a box of Krispy Kremes to Wades office. If he did it before Wades belly started a' rumblin he would have been cleared to practice with the team.

My hunch is that the Front office and Wade might have done a similar thing as far as holding their ground on the position he played.

But when Haynesworth came in out of shape, they would have put up with it or relied on the player's peer pressure to get him ready.

The problem would have lingered...the same as it is currently doing in Washington.

Another difference: Shanahan has won respect from the other players by how he's handled it. Not likability...but respect. I think it might even have rallied the rest of the team.

Oh, I see. Only certain people are allowed to express their opinion on the topic.
Oh I know, why don't you start a thread on what people are allowed to post to what topics...

Grow up, dude.

LOL!!!

I gave Haynesworth the benefit of the doubt during the offseason and I gotta admit, he didn't deserve one ounce of it...

I'd bet Wade would be able to incorporate Haynesworth more or less into the team. It's one of his strengths, even though right now we're pretending he doesn't have any.

honestly, if we too Haynesworth on? That sick contract? Ratliff loves the nose but would be a beast on the end. So we would have had more flexibility since Fat Abbey would have even been able to play himself out of the outside and force his fat arse to the nose.

Ratliff would have made it either way and be a top 3 player at either position. He's the most motivated and hungry veteran player we have. Minus the ego by 1000 percent. At least when it come to talking to coaches. Opposition he's the boss.
