No other team in the franchise's 46-year history has started 7-3 and failed to advance to the postseason.

I believe the 86 team was 7-2 at one pt, only to crash and burn.

Yah-it really stings. Frankly, as a football fan, it's sickening for ANY team to do this. Whether it's that '00 Skins team, the Saints teams of any year, etc, it just makes you want to vommit.

Once Flo went down our OT's got exposed. Then we started playing playoff teams. Not exactly a shocker.

We actually had the Denver game in the bag. And shockingly, we came out with LITTLE fire in our eyes in TWO divisional games last month.

Injuries, sminjuries-they're significant, yah. However-the more you use them as an excuse, the less you see the bigger picture.

Here's another:

Our record in the last six games of the season under the Parcells' regime.

2005: 2-4
2004: 3-3
2003: 3-3

You win games with players. When you don't have the talent to win you won't.

We are building a solid team here but there was zero depth at OT and that bit us when the one solid OT went down with injury. To a lesser extent the same occured at CB with Henry being our big free agent signee and we got 1 half season of MVP level play and 1 half season of a hurt guy staggering around looking lost or sitting on the pine.

True, and BP did a very good job with the defense thus far. The injury to Flo killed this team. He is/was the only guy on the entire OL that is worth a squat this year, including Larry overrated Allen.
