That's what today's game felt like.

When we stopped them n fourth and goal, I thought to myself,"We're gonna pull this one out." The subsequent nine minutes were just mindboggingly numbing.

A great defensive performance canceled out by Romo's worst game ever.

Just a big shock to the system.

That said, we're in the playoffs as things stand right now. If we win out we're in. If we win 2 out of 3 then we may still get in as a #6 seed.

I want to exact revenge on the Giants and I think we will

Here's our cheering guide for next week

New Orleans at Chicago Go Bears
Washington at Cincinnati Go Bungles
Buccaneers at Falcons depends on Monday's game but go Bucs right now.
Broncos at Panthers Go Denver
Browns at Eagles Go Browns

and of course, :giants:

KILL THE GIANTS!!!!!!!

Romo was horrid today and we'll never turn it around until he improves in these types of games. But I agree with what Juke said -- this game was about more than him. This is about a winning mentality, something we clearly lack when the going gets tough.

This game had the look of one that we would have lost even if Romo had not thrown that interception.

The defense had already given up 10 points in a few minutes after shutting down Pittsburgh all day. Is it that big a stretch to think if we were forced to punt instead of Romo getting picked off, that Pittsburgh still would have scored and won?

This team has problems. I just hope they're fixable.

I dunno, the Skins and Tampa game say otherwise.

Like I said on another thread-we're no different from "Saw" and its sequels that come out every Halloween. Us and Dec...different year, same unwatchable horror flick.

Oh, we can win games in October and November without any problem. We're as clutch and automatic to win as any team in the league then.

What is Romo the last two seasons from September through November -- 18-3 or so?

It's once the calendar turns to December that all the problems arise.

Oddly, we seem to pull out gritty wins pre-December. Remember in '06 we pulled out a GREAT team win against Carolina on the road(Romo's first start) and undefeated Indy...but we couldn't do it at all when it mattered most against Philly at home, and then Detroit at home the following week.

Maybe it's a psychological thing or something, or just a coincidence, but it's not too late to reverse the trend or at least stabilize things.

We win the next two at home we should be in a good spot.
