The New York Giants get blown out by Breese and the Saints, Washington loses to it's third winless team and Philly gets upset by Oakland.

That couldn't hurt our chances.

Really, these things all occurred? I hadn't heard.

Blown out = EXPOSED.

Again, this game made me feel good about 3-2 because despite poor play, turnovers, etc, Dallas was in both the Denver and Giants game until the final seconds. They had a chance to win (or NOT lose) but blew it w/ dumb decisions/mistakes/penalties/turnovers/poor taclking. The little things that can be fixed/improved on.

Being blown out though leaves you with tons of questions. The 21 point difference at the end does no justice to the job the Saints offense did of absolutely shredding the Giants' defense.

Of course, I am not looking forward to Dallas playing @NO later in the season.

That was an ideal weekend for all Dallas fans. NO is scary though. Payton gameplans well against us though.

May be , just may be we are in for a pleasant surprise ;)

God bless Sean Payton and Drew Brees, they are the exposer of fraudulent teams, they did it to the 2006 Cowboys and they just did it to the 2009 Giants.

Aikman said sometimes, those types of losses are easier to get over, than a close game. So it may not hurt them as much.

Like the ones we loss, the players can be beating themselves up over a loss, especially when we lost like we did. But to pull that close game out, could do more than a blowout as far as the psyche.

I just want a win against the Falcons, and hopefully with more consistency and less penalties and less mental mistakes.

The Broncos are for real and Dallas had a really bad game vs the Gnats, if the Cowboys CAN beat Atlanta and go 4-2 it changes the look of the NFC.

I think the most important thing to remember in being optimistic is examining the last few seasons, the slow start by the Gmen the year they won it all, honestly Dallas started out looking like Denver squared two years ago but .... then the rest of the season happened.

it's definitely crossed my mind but, I figure if I stick my fingers in my ears and shut my eyes tight it wont' happen.

If not mistaken Dallas has only face NO once since Payton became HC there is not a long track record of his game planning for the Cowboys.

As for Philly I was told last week by some that good teams blow out bad teams? I think that theory went down the drain as the Raiders took down the Eagles. This is the NFL no game is a lock!!!!
