According to announcers, Trent Cole carted off @ K.C.

Not sure it's serious. Not even sure if I should believe it happened because they certainly didn't show it, but I'm watching the Eagles/Chiefs game and while they were working on a downed Philly lineman the announcers said, "Trent Cole was carted off a few minutes ago."

Its only preseason and I am sure the eagles no what they have.

But I have watched all of the games and I have not seen him

He drops back and either gets hammered or runs for his life.

kolb just dropped back, hit his fifth step, avoided two free rushers, ran for his life and threw the ball 50 yards into double coverage and was intercepted.

Something is just not right with them it appears, I dont know if it is preseason, the line or kolb himself. Kolb was sacked early in the game on a blitz where he didnt even see the free rusher on two different occasions.

I know when that happened last year dungy explained that the free guy is on the qb and so did laufenberg. So romo was at fault for instance in the broncos game.

I have seen kolb do this twice tonight, it was like he had no idea there was any pressure.

Green bay loves to come after the qb and with the amount of points they score they may hit kolb 10 times in the opener.

Cole suffered an ankle injury, the team said. He limped off the field in the second quarter and then rode the cart inside for an X-ray, which was negative

I noticed at one point in the game that he was obviously hurting. He was limping around trying to play. That was in the second quarter of the game.

In fact it was on the drive where the Chiefs should have gone 3 and out but the Eagles got a five yard penalty on the punt which gave the Chiefs a first. THen they started moving the ball down the field. I first noticed him limping, pretty significantly, on a swing pass to Jones. Cole was limping along behind, unable to make the play.
