You watched Jerry Jones sign them to the team straight out of college. You followed their career in Big D. Then you saw them leave willingly or unwillingly (i.e. traded) for other teams.

How do you view them after their days in Dallas have ended?

It depends. Case by case basis, depending on the player, his performance, the circumstances of his leaving, ect ect ect.

C (formerly #3): respect them for their time donning the Star, but once they're gone they're just another NFL player on another NFL team...

I root against anyone not on the team in favor of the Boys.....but a lot depends on the circumstances. In a case like Larry Allen going to the Raiders I thank him for his years of loyal service and extraordinary performance and don't mind him cashing those last few paychecks. In a case like Calvin Hill going to the Commanders, then a pox on him and all around him. Even though TO was cut, then a pox ......well, ok, winding up in Buffalo was punishment enough.

Good point.

If a player leaves for a paycheck from the Eagles, Giants, Commanders, Steelers, or 49ers....then they're dead to me.

if they didnt leave with any hard feelings i will applaud when they are announced and then after that they are "the other team".

if they left mouthing off they dont get nothing from me.

my D vote is on the board
