Actually, this might be the best for Romo

Forced to think about that play and the one in the detroit game for the next 6 months. Forced to confront the fact that he tried to do too much and try and make big plays all the time. Forced to realize that being under control is the number one quality of a top NFL QB. FORCED to work on his mechanics and fundamentals. THIS will either make him or break him.

i think i may have had a knee jerkk reaction with him and the anointing oil along with many others on this board. The way he has played the last 7 games now makes me think we need to continue looking for our future qb. I'm sorry but I think he is merely a good backup. He's got probably the slipperiest hands of any qb i've ever seen and he's forgotten how to look downfield. T.o. and glenn were both open for long touchdowns and he never saw them. Sorry but it's time to realize we need to keep looking.:banghead:

His mechanics are HORRIBLE. He is consistently throwing off the wrong foot. If he doesn't break that habit, you can assuredly count on more INT's and bad things coming our way.

I think it is good as well. I think people are expecting a lot of a guy who has only started 11 games. Be realistic. He will only get better with time. Trust me. But last night I think he was playing scared, not to make the mistake. Bt again, understandable for a guy who is starting for the first time. Believe me, the NFC east is knows that Tony will be around for a couple of years.

No. We are expecting a lot from someone who has been in the league and the same system for 4 years now. The same guy that Bill put in their because he gave us a better chance to win than with Bledsoe who also had high expectations. Romo is NOT a rookie and should have played better more consistantly than he did.

Overconfidence is no longer his problem.

GAME experience is what he is short of; NOTHING substitutes for that. He will now have to show that he can be better; and I think he can do that.

Romo needs more work.

He can be a good one.

BUT...

yesterday was just horrible.
